The Berlin Wall fell in 1989. Almost thirty years have passed since Regina Schmeken captured the atmosphere of the climax of the peaceful revolution. Events of a completely different kind have occupied the German public in recent years: Right-wing extremist attacks shook Germany, culminating in the series of murders of the "National Socialist Underground". The photographer also paid attention to the places and the reappraisal of these acts.
