Copy drawing August Strindberg by Edvard Munch of the installation with reproductions from the collection in the exhibition Gurlitt A balance sheet on the history of the collection by the art dealer Hildebrand and Cornelius Gurlitt in the Kunstmuseum Bern Switzerland. The exhibition sheds light on the history of the Bern collection from the perspective of museum provenance research, degenerate art under National Socialist cultural policy, and the purchase of works of art by the Gurlitt. Because Hildebrand Gurlitt dealt in art during National Socialism in Germany from 1933 to 1945, the inventory has been checked for possible cases of Nazi-looted art since 2013.
