Ellis Kaut, 1989
Ellis Kaut, the initiator of the cartoon kobold Pumuckl, celebrated her 80th birthday on November 17, 2000. In 1965, the trained actress and sculptor had published her first of a total of eleven Pumuckl books. Children all over the world know the cheeky guy with his fiery red hair also from more than 50 television episodes with Gustl Bayrhammer as "Meister Eder". Currently the production of a new movie is in progress. Ellis Kaut, who received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1971, wants to continue traveling, photographing, painting and modeling.
