The gymnasium of Stielerschule in Stielerstrasse 6 at the Theresienwiese functioned as an external warehouse of the concentration camp in Dachau in the Third Reich. In July 1944, 100 prisoners were accommodated here, whose work was the same as a forlorn hope, the search for and the removal of non-detonated bombs. Every day up to 15 prisoners were killed who were replaced by new inmates from the Dachau concentration camp. Since 1989, a commemorative plate commemorates the Bombensuchkommando.
