Thousands Gather Near the Knesset in Protest Against Reforms to Israel's Judicial System

The Israeli Parliament is expected to vote today on a series of laws that will determine the future of the country's Justice system and supreme court. Among them- the structure of the committee that will appoint supreme court judges, the possibility of the high court to over-rule laws made by the Knesset and more. The reform, presumably intend to weaken Israel's Supreme Court by limiting its available tools to monitor and restrict the two other governing authorities, Israel's parliament, the Knesset which serves as the legislative branch and the Government Executive Branch.
