Neues Schild Odesaplatz sowie Beschilderung der Museum Berlin-Karlshorst (ehemals Deutsch-Russisches Museum Karlshorst)
Das Bezirksamt Lichtenberg hat den neugestalteten Marktplatz zwischen Rheinsteinstraße und Ehrenfelsstraße in Karlshorst eingeweiht und feierlich in "Odesaplatz" benennen. Der bislang namenlose Platz an der Treskowallee erhält auf Initiative von Bezirksbürgermeister Michael Grunst (Die Linke) sowie Bezirksstadtrat Martin Schaefer (CDU) und per Beschluss des Bezirksamtes Lichtenberg vom 16. August 2022 den Namen der ukrainischen Stadt am Schwarzen Meer Odesa. Es wird mit ein "S" wie in Ukrainisch und nicht 2 S wie in Deutsch mit Absicht beschriftet. Auch anwesend Camilla Schuler (Die Linke), Bezirksstadträtin für Familie, Jugend und Gesundheit; Maksym Yemelianov, Gesandter-Botschaftsrat bei Botschaft der Ukraine; Carolin Freifrau von Buddenbrock, Protokollchefin des Landes Berlin. Aus dem Umfeld der DKP würde in Sichtweite ein klein Protest gegen die Benennung angemeldet. u.a würde Pro Donbass Transparent gezeigt.
