Germany: Pro-Kurdish supporters protest on World Kobane Day
Germany, Berlin, November 01, 2020: HELIN EVRIM SOMMER (Left Party), Member of the German Bundestag, can be seen giving a speech as on the occasion of the World Kobane Day, various left-wing groups demonstrate after the international call of the campaign RiseUp4Rojava under the motto 'From Kobane to the world - Rise up against Fascism' in Berlin Neukoelln and Kreuzberg. The organizers demand a liberated society without colonialism, patriarchy and fascism and show solidarity with people and fighters in the autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (NES), also known as Rojava and Kurdistan, a roughly defined geo-cultural territory in southeastern Turkey, northern Iraq, northwestern Iran, northern Syria and southern Transcaucasia.
